Location:
This position operates primarily in an office/shop environment. Some local travel may be required for material pickups, vendor coordination, or job site support.

Position Overview:
The Operations Assistant supports the Operations Coordinator in daily operational tasks, with a primary focus on material ordering, inventory management, and job cost data entry.
This role is critical to ensuring field teams have the materials they need, inventory is properly tracked and cared for, and job costing information is accurate and up to date.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and takes ownership of their responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
· Assist with ordering plant material, hard goods, and job-related materials
· Track and maintain inventory levels of hard goods and supplies
· Communicate with vendors to confirm pricing, availability, and delivery timelines
· Enter job costing information accurately into company systems (Aspire)
· Assist in tracking materials and costs associated with jobs
· Verify materials received and report any discrepancies
· Maintain organized records of orders, inventory, and job cost data
· Support coordination between field teams and the office
· Assist with general operational tasks as needed
Performance Expectations:
· Accurate and timely ordering of materials
· Organized and up-to-date inventory tracking
· Complete and accurate job costing data entry
· Strong communication with operations team and vendors
· High attention to detail with minimal errors
Requirements:
· Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in landscaping, construction, or a related field
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· High attention to detail and accuracy
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
· Strong communication skills
· Proficiency with computers and ability to learn company systems (Aspire)
· Self-motivated with a high level of accountability
Preferred (Not Required):
· Experience with inventory management or purchasing
· Familiarity with landscape materials and plant materials
· Experience with job costing or project tracking
· Experience working in a fast-paced service environment
